Breaking In Your Boots — The Right Way

New Petrie riding boots are crafted from premium leather that naturally forms and moulds to your leg over time. During the break-in period, the leather around the ankle develops its characteristic fold — a sign of quality craftsmanship taking shape. As this happens, boot height naturally settles by approximately 1 cm, which can temporarily affect your saddle position and comfort.

Petrie Heel Risers are designed specifically for this transition period. Placed inside your boots, they compensate for the initial height difference, keeping your position stable and comfortable from the very first ride — right through until your boots have fully formed to your leg.
